How I got 5 Million+ Pinterest Impressions

Over the past 6 years of running this website, I have realised that a vast majority of my blog and website traffic comes from Pinterest.

Some of my cute statistics include (from 2023-2026):

• 5 million+ overall Pinterest impressions

• 100k+ monthly average impressions

• 700k+ overall engagements

• 60k+ overall saves

HOW I STARTED WITH PINTEREST

Believe it or not, I didn't join Pinterest to grow my following or reach. I originally signed up to the platform for ideas, and I ended up just posting old images and posts from my other social media accounts on there. I left the posts there and didn't really keep track of anything.

It wasn't until about a year later that I realised that I had some following growth and was getting website traffic. It just took off. I was very surprised, because it didn't grow overnight; it was extremely slow to build. But I realised if I posted now, in about 6 months I might see a difference, so it's worth it in the long-term.

HOW I GOT 5M+ PINTEREST IMPRESSIONS

Over the years, I have used Pinterest I realised that most of my audience values educational content they can learn from. Content that drives saves, rather than just visual appeal, is important.

With that in mind, I have templates saved on my phone app ready to create content anytime, anywhere, and I just make very simple, easy-to-remember educational posts. Although most of my content is Tarot-related, I have started to branch out into other niches and realise it works the same way.

If you are just starting, I would recommend creating graphics and educational content in batches and just start uploading them. Make sure to link it back to your website to drive traffic.

To be honest, I don't follow any posting schedule; I just post them. It's like a library, and Pinterest is essentially the same as a search engine. Even ChatGPT uses my infographics when I search for Tarot!
